Beautifully and artistically designed, rare coffee set designed by Bele Bachem for Rosenthal. The set consists of six demitasse cups and saucers, a tall coffee pot, a milk jug, and a covered sugar bowl. The pieces are skillfully decorated in black with astrological signs accented with gilt on white ground. The sun and various zodiac signs such as

Marked Rosenthal Germany beneath a crown in green, and Studio Linie in gilt. The
hollowware
pieces are further marked with the artist signature, Bele Bachem.
Very good to excellent original condition. The pattern and gilt is intact and vivid. Some slight patina to the gilt, most evident on the handles.
